Surgical Tech

Hi my name is Isaac, and I am a surgical tech. I initially began my career in the blue collar world where I obtained a handful of trade skills varying from welding, automotive, electrical and maintenance of heavy equipment. I was very close to completing my architectural and mechanical design degree when Covid-19 briefly shut down the world.

During this time I realized I wanted to change my career path and began my journey into the medical field. After working at the largest Covid site in Los Angeles I began my EMT program but I still did not know in what direction I wanted to take my career; until my sister mentioned surgical tech. I enrolled into a surgical tech program and fell in love with the environment. The attention and care that is dedicated to help transform people’s lives one person at a time.

I am someone who has too many hobbies. In my spare time I can be found working on my cars, cooking, playing music and going to concerts, going to photography events, planning out my next travel/road trip or skydiving. As of recently, I am making an effort to obtain my A-License so I can be qualified to skydive alone.
